🐐 Introducing our new GOAT Award! 🐐

Alongside our weekly Player of the Week award, we have introduced a new award to recognise the qualities that make a great teammate.

The GOAT Award – Greatest Of All Teammates.

This award celebrates the players who help make our team a positive, supportive place for everyone.

We’ll be looking out for the girls who:

💚 Encourage their teammates.

💚 Help set up and tidy away equipment.

💚 Pick up cones and sliotars without being asked.

💚 Show kindness and respect to everyone.

💚 Include others and always give their best for the team.

We want all of the girls to know that being a great teammate is just as important as developing their camogie skills. Small acts of kindness and helping others make a big difference and help create a positive team environment for everyone.

Our first recipient really helped a new camog settle in. She got her a hurl, sliotar and helmet then took her under her wing. Starting something new is never easy, but I’m sure those small acts of kindness made a big difference. Well done.

We look forward to training tomorrow when we can award our next camog.🐐💚💛
